Product Overview

Commercial Quality (CQ) Cold Rolled Annealed Sheet is a low-carbon steel product engineered for general fabrication, forming, and manufacturing. By subjecting cold-rolled steel to a controlled recrystallization annealing process, we eliminate internal stresses and restore material ductility. This ensures excellent flatness, precise thickness control, and superior surface preparation for subsequent painting, plating, or welding.

Compared to hot-rolled alternatives, our cold-rolled annealed steel provides tighter dimensional tolerances, a smoother surface finish, and highly stable mechanical properties during high-speed stamping and bending.

At Kennen Steel, we customize every order to meet your exact requirements-including steel grades, custom dimensions, international standards, surface oiling, and specialized export packaging.

Core Advantages

Superior Surface & Tight Tolerances
Our advanced cold-rolling mills ensure a smooth, defect-free matte finish that acts as an ideal substrate for powder coating and electroplating. We maintain thickness tolerances within strict industry standards (up to±0.02 mm upon request) to prevent tooling wear during high-speed stamping.

High Ductility for Consistent Forming
The precise batch/continuous annealing process softens the hard-rolled steel, ensuring excellent elongation. This makes the material highly reliable for general bending ($180^\circ$ flat bend capabilities depending on thickness), profiling, and light drawing without cracking.

Comprehensive Processing & Customization
We don't just supply raw steel; we offer added-value processing:
Decoiling & Leveling: Precision flattening to your specified sheet lengths.

Precision Slitting: Narrow strip processing for specialized tube-making or stamping lines.

Surface Customization: Choice of matte (Roughness Ra 0.6–1.9 μm) or bright finishes, and customized oiling levels.

Standard Export Seaworthy Packaging
To prevent physical damage and corrosion during long-term sea transit, we apply a strict multi-layer protection system:

Inner layer: Anti-rust volatile corrosion inhibitor (VCI) paper and protective plastic film.

Middle layer: High-strength steel protective metal sheets.

Outer layer: Heavy-duty steel inner/outer corner protectors, bound tightly with at least 4 radial and 3 circumferential steel bands.

Moisture-absorbent silica gel packs placed inside every coil/bundle.

Industrial Applications

Our cold rolled annealed sheets are trusted by procurement managers globally across diverse sectors:

Home Appliances: Refrigerator outer shells, washing machine bodies, microwave housings.

Metal Furniture: Office filing cabinets, heavy-duty shelving, toolboxes, steel lockers.

Automotive Components: Non-structural interior panels, seat frames, brackets, and filters.

Electrical Enclosures: Distribution boxes, server racks, control cabinets.

General Fabrication: Stamped metal parts, welded pipes, laser-cut profiles.

Quality Control & Verification Documents

At Kennen Steel, quality is non-negotiable. Every shipment undergoes rigorous quality verification before port delivery:

Dimension Inspection: Continuous thickness, width, and flatness checks.

Surface Inspection: Visual and mechanical scans for pinholes, scratches, or rust.

Mechanical Testing: Yield strength, tensile strength, and elongation testing.

Third-Party Inspection: We fully support inspections by SGS, Bureau Veritas (BV), or TUV at the loading port.

Guaranteed Documentation Provided

Mill Test Certificate (MTC) matching EN 10204 3.1 standards.

Detailed Packing List (including heat numbers, coil IDs, and net/gross weights).

Commercial Invoice & Certificate of Origin (CO, Form E, Form F, etc., to minimize your import tariffs).

FAQ

Q: What is the lead time for a typical order?

A: For standard sizes in stock, we can load and ship within 7–10 days. For custom production runs (specific thickness/width/grades), the typical lead time is 20–30 days.

Q: What is your Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)?

A: Our standard MOQ is 25 metric tons (one full container load). However, trial orders of 10–15 tons can be discussed depending on current production schedules.

Q: How do you guarantee the steel will not rust during sea transit?

A: We use premium anti-rust oil combined with multi-layer waterproof VCI packaging. All containers are inspected for dryness, and we place industrial-grade desiccants inside the container to prevent condensation (container rain).

Q: Can you customize sheet lengths?

A: Yes. We have in-house decoiling and leveling lines that can cut coils into sheets of any custom length (e.g., 2000 mm, 2440 mm, 3000 mm) with strict flatness control.
