Kennen Steel at VIETBUILD 2026 in Ho Chi Minh City

In August 2026, Kennen Steel exhibited at VIETBUILD 2026 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Held from August 12 to 16 at SKY EXPO Vietnam International Exhibition & Convention Center, the exhibition brought together companies and professionals from across Vietnam's construction and building materials industry.

We were there with our own booth - A3 Booth 803 - and spent five days meeting local buyers, distributors, contractors, manufacturers and other industry professionals.

Five Days at the Booth

Over the five days, we had plenty of conversations about steel - and plenty of conversations that started with something as simple as "What products do you supply?"

Visitors came with different requirements, from structural steel and steel sections to galvanized steel coil, wire, mesh, steel pipe and more.

Some conversations were brief. Others turned into long discussions about specifications, standards, mill certificates, supply capabilities and project requirements.

And of course, meeting people face to face is always different from talking online.

Getting to Know the Market

As a China-based steel exporter and first-tier distributor of Guangxi Yiji Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. (ChiJi Steel), we also had the opportunity to introduce our supply capabilities and discuss products including I & H-beam, channel, angle steel, pipe and more.

For us, an exhibition is never just about putting products on display.

It's a chance to meet the people behind the enquiries, hear what they are actually looking for, and put faces to conversations that might otherwise only happen through email or messaging apps.

We came back from Ho Chi Minh City with new connections, ongoing conversations and plenty of good memories from five busy days at the booth.
