Thin Gauge Cold Rolled Full Hard Coils (CRFH)

Thin Gauge Cold Rolled Full Hard Coils are unannealed high-precision steel products manufactured through precise cold rolling reduction. By retaining the work-hardening effect, these coils offer exceptional tensile strength, superior hardness, and excellent thickness uniformity-making them the premium base material for subsequent galvanizing, color coating, and precision forming.

We supply high-quality Thin Gauge Cold Rolled Full Hard Coils for global industrial customers, including steel processors, automotive component manufacturers, appliance producers, metal fabrication companies, and coating manufacturers. Focused on providing reliable cold rolled steel solutions, we ensure controlled thickness tolerances, consistent mechanical properties, excellent surface quality, and stable international delivery.

Our Thin Gauge Cold Rolled Full Hard Coils can be fully customized according to customer requirements, including steel grade, thickness, width, coil weight, surface condition, and packaging specifications.

Product Advantages

High Tensile Strength & Structural Rigidity
The severe cold rolling reduction process increases the yield and tensile strength of the steel. Our thin-gauge coils maintain high structural stability, allowing downstream manufacturers to produce lighter yet stronger end-products.
Superior yield-to-tensile ratio suitable for high-tension processing lines.

High rigidity perfect for roll-formed profiles and industrial structural parts.

Minimal springback variation during subsequent roll forming.

Micro-Level Thickness Tolerance
Utilizing advanced Automatic Gauge Control (AGC) systems, we guarantee ultra-precise thickness control across the entire length of the coil.

Consistent gauge tolerance to prevent machine jamming in high-speed automatic stamping lines.

Uniform sheet profile that extends the lifespan of your stamping dies and cutting tools.

Consistent thickness across the coil width to ensure perfect flatness.

Pristine Surface Quality for Coating Operations
Our strict hot-rolled strip selection and acid pickling processes eliminate scale and surface defects, leaving a clean, smooth, and consistent surface finish.

Optimal surface roughness (Ra) engineered for zinc adhesion in hot-dip galvanizing.

Excellent chemical adhesion properties for color-coated/pre-painted (PPGI) production.

Oiled or dry options tailored to your storage and processing requirements.

Controlled Manufacturing Process

We ensure complete traceability and quality consistency through a closed-loop manufacturing flow:

Premium Hot Rolled Selection: We source clean, chemically stable hot-rolled bands as raw materials.

Acid Pickling Line: Thorough removal of oxide scale to ensure a clean surface substrate.

Cold Rolling (AGC Mills): Precision thickness reduction under continuous thickness-gauge monitoring.

Tension Leveling: Improving coil flatness and removing internal stress.

On-Line Inspection: Checking width, thickness, flatness, and surface finish.

Export Standard Packaging: Heavy-duty, multi-layer wrapping to prevent maritime transit damage.

Strict Quality Control & Global Compliance

Continuous Verification & Traceability
Every batch of Thin Gauge Cold Rolled Full Hard Coils undergoes strict testing protocols to ensure full quality traceability. We provide a Mill Test Certificate (MTC) conforming to EN 10204 3.1 with every shipment, covering:

Chemical Spectrometer Analysis: Verifying exact heat analysis and element distribution.

Mechanical Property Testing: Confirming tensile strength, yield strength, and elongation limits.

Hardness Testing (Rockwell / Vickers): Ensuring the coil meets the HRB 85 minimum standard.

Micrometer Dimensional Check: Continuous thickness, width, and flatness tolerance validation.

Seaworthy Export Packaging
To ensure your steel coils arrive in pristine condition, completely free of rust or physical deformation, we use a specialized 5-Layer Seaworthy Protective System:

Layer 1: Anti-corrosive VCI (Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor) film wrapped directly around the steel surface.

Layer 2: Heavy-duty waterproof plastic wrapping to block moisture and sea spray.

Layer 3: High-strength kraft paper protection for structural shielding.

Layer 4: Galvanized steel sheet outer wrap with metal inner/outer corner protectors.

Layer 5: Radial and circumferential high-tensile steel straps locked with heavy metal seals.

Logistics Loading: Coils are secured on heavy timber skids or loaded eye-to-sky/eye-to-wall inside containers with heavy-duty wood blocking and silica gel desiccants.

FAQ

Q: What is the typical hardness of your thin-gauge full hard coils?

A: Our full hard coils are delivered in an unannealed state, featuring a minimum hardness of HRB 85 (or HV 170). If your process requires specific hardness levels (e.g., HRB 90+), please specify this during the inquiry process.

Q: Can I use this material for deep drawing or complex stamping?

A: No. Full hard coils have very high strength but extremely low elongation (ductility). Attempting deep drawing or tight-radius bending on full hard steel will result in cracking. If your application requires severe forming, we recommend our Annealed Cold Rolled Coils (CRCA). Full hard is ideal for coating substrates, simple structural profiles, or flat panels.

Q: Do you support third-party inspections and provide quality certificates?

A: Yes. Every shipment is accompanied by a Mill Test Certificate (MTC) according to EN 10204 3.1, alongside a detailed packing list and commercial invoice. We also welcome and fully support international third-party inspection agencies (such as SGS, Bureau Veritas, or Intertek) to conduct testing at our mill prior to loading.

Q: What is your standard lead time?

A: For customized thicknesses, widths, or specific steel grades, the typical manufacturing lead time is 20 to 30 days. This varies depending on current raw material availability and our production schedule. Please contact us for a real-time shipping estimate.
